Opaque Domain
This realm is plagued by thick fog, leaving it forever wrapped in obscuring mists. The strong difference between day and night temperatures as well as the presence of lots of atmospheric moisture from the numerous lakes, rivers, and oceans creates a blanket of fog that rarely breaks free to reveal the brilliant blue sky.
While there is plenty of water for plants to grow, the lack of sunlight ensures growth is slow. Thick mosses blanket the ground and dangle from ancient trees that reach to heights to break free from the constant ground fog.
The peaks of high hills and mountains that rise above the thick mist are an oasis for the inhabitants. Unfortunately, travel between them requires a journey into damp realms that hide many dangerous creatures.
