Gods of the Opaque Domain
There are two main gods of the Opaque Domain, though most would tell you there is only one: the triple goddess of the Solastra Triune.
The Solastra Triune
The Triple Sun Goddess
Worshipped by humans across the Kingdom of Solenum, the Solastra Triune is regarded as the goddess who lead her followers out of the mist to a life of safety and prosperity. She is considered the only god of the world by many.
Symbolized by the bright sun that drives the mist away, the Solastra Triune is worshipped daily at sunrise, midday, and sunset services, depending on which face of the goddess you are seeking support from. Every city has a gold crowned temple at the highest (or most advantageous) point where services are offered. The Sun Priestesses, known as the Iluminem, and younger initiates live in nearby quarters in a compound often surrounded by a white quartz wall.
Only the Sun Priestesses, Initiates, and royalty are allowed to wear the holy color of bright white. Though anyone can wear gold, especially golden sun pins to show their faith, few can afford to wear much and certainly not the bejeweled and golden sun crowns and ribbons of the priestesses.
The three stars that circle the sun are considered to be Sun Eagle messangers of the goddess, who is known to send her bright golden and red eagles as a sign to the faithful. Only if her messages are ignored and the need is dire will one of the three aspects of the goddess appear to send a clear warning and message.

Aeliana
The Dawn Goddess
Goddess of Joy and Hope

Aelinana is worshipped at sunrise and holds sway until mid-morning. She is considered the goddess of hope, innocense, and joy.
She rarely appears except as a young or small sun eagle or a young girl, who is often laughing gaily. She brings beauty and wonderment who need her.

Luminara
The Midday Goddess
The Leader and the Warrior

Luminara is worshipped at midday and holds sway from mid-morning to mid-afternoon. She is the leader who will go to war to defend those she protects.
It is Luminara and her visage of an adult woman that is said to have met and married the first king of Solenum.

Selunara
The Sunset Goddess
Goddess of Wisdom & Family

Selunara is worshipped at sunset and holds sway from mid-afternoon to last light. She appears as an aged woman or a nearly all red sun eagle.
She is the goddess of wisdom, known for her kindness and patience. Though, it is not wise to cross her and spark her anger for she can be strict and protective.

Nyxfang
The God of Mist and Wild Things
Not much is known of Nyxfang and most in the Kingdom of Solenum does not believe in the existance of the “dark god.” But those who travel through the mist, such as the mist runners or those who live near to its ever present cool touch such as farmers in the vales, say there is a god of the mist and wild creatures—and it is best not to irritate him.
It is believed that the first people who lived and were lost in the mist worshipped Nyxfang and humbly prayed for his indifference for it is better to be ignored by Nyxfang than to be seen by this god. For he is not a friend to humans. He is a god of mist and wild creatures, and he will help them before he helps anything else.
The presence of a sliver of moon seen in the night sky is sited by the superstitious to be proof that there is a god that rules where humans do not tread, in the darkness and dangerous times. For those who do mind themselves lest he notice them, a carving of a moon or a creature with branch-like antlers often symbolizes this tempermental and quiet god.
